What is a Virtual Desktop?
Dorm USA's Virtual Desktop is based off of the eyeOS 1.5 Gala WebOS Desktop, an open source software. It works just like your computer desktop at home, whether it be Windows, Mac, or Linux, but does one thing that these desktops don't do: take it with you. That's right! Whether you have computer at home, a laptop, or even using a public computer at a library, at school, or a cyber cafe, you can always get to your work and be able to work on it without changing a thing! All you need to do is what you are doing right now: open up you browser, go to DormUSA.com and click on the" Your Desktop" link, sign in and you are on your own personalized desktop with the changes you left behind! What's more, you can share your files with friends and family (so long as they have a desktop account) of your photos, music, videos, and documents. If not, you can still keep it private, it's all up to you. Some services expect you to pay for this type of service.  We are providing this service for FREE for all who wish to use it. It's FREE to sign up and FREE to use the service.

What are the software applications?
